Bright Side of the Moon on Flickr. Its 2 days since the full moon. With the right edge slowly being engulfed in the shadows, I was easily able to capture the details of the craters along the circumference.
The moon, unfortunately, does not look all that beautiful from such close-up / zoom.

The “Delicate” Arch at sunset on Flickr. After an hour of strenuous hike (with no shelter from the scorching heat of the sun), we reached the Delicate Arch, one of the most famous arches in the world. At the north east corner of Arches National Park in Utah, it is indeed a natural wonder which leaves you spell bound. The arch appears all of a sudden around a corner at the end of the trail. I had to wait till the sunset to capture the arch with all its color.
Definitely a hike worth taking, if you are planning to visit the national park.

The spring from the Hanging Lake on Flickr.
Shot while hiking to the Hanging Lake, near Glenwood Springs, in Colorado, USA. Just at the beginning of the trail, we stopped for a while to shoot a couple of shots of the stream. This stream will be our companion for the next couple of hours! Shot in RAW, and converted to B&W in Adobe Lightroom.

Upper Antelope Canyon, Arizona on Flickr.A visit to the Upper Antelope Canyon is a beautiful experience.
The canyon is made up of Navajo sandstone. The canyon was made by the erosion of this sandstone, primarily by flash flooding. When the canyon was discovered, herds of prong-horned antelope roamed the area.
I realized that photographs don’t do justice to the beauty of the canyons. This place needs to be visited in person to experience its beauty. The trip through Antelope Canyon is an easy walk on a level, sandy path.
This is a shot of the entrance from within the canyon. I visited the canyon during the end of the day, so was able to shoot a lot of pictures without getting too many people in these pictures.

Sunset at Horseshoe Bend, Arizona on Flickr.
Horseshoe Bend is the name for a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, in the United States. The bend is locally known as “King Bend.” It is located five miles (8.5 km) downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell within Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, about four miles or 6 km southwest of Page. Accessible via a ¾-mile (1.2 km) hike from U.S. Route 89, it can be viewed from the steep cliff above. According to Google terrain maps, the overlook is 4,200 feet above sea level and the Colorado River is at 3,200 feet above sea level making it a breathtaking 1,000 foot drop. (Wikipedia) Shot during my recent trip to Arizona.
