Happy New Year 2012! At scenic Breckenridge, Colorado on Flickr.
Breckenridge is one of North America’s most popular ski resorts during winter months and attracts a lot of outdoor enthusiasts with hiking trails, snowmobiles, dog sledges etc. This was shot on my way to one of the adventure companies for snow mobiling. Elevation here is around 7000ft above sea level.

Considered to be one of the most photographed places in Colorado, Maroon Bells is situated around 12 miles from Aspen.

Blue Skies - View Around Trail Ridge Road on Flickr.
This one was shot at the Trail Ridge Road, at Rocky Mountain National Park. We stopped our car, and I walked a while, as I could see some elks (do you see them?) It was a beautiful summer day!
The spring from the Hanging Lake on Flickr.
Shot while hiking to the Hanging Lake, near Glenwood Springs, in Colorado, USA. Just at the beginning of the trail, we stopped for a while to shoot a couple of shots of the stream. This stream will be our companion for the next couple of hours! Shot in RAW, and converted to B&W in Adobe Lightroom.
Trail Ridge Road, Rocky Mountain, Colorado on Flickr.
Trail Ridge Road is the name for a stretch of U.S. Highway 34 and is the highest continuous highway in the United States. Also known as Trail Ridge Road/Beaver Meadow National Scenic Byway, it traverses Rocky Mountain National Park from Estes Park, Colorado in the east to Grand Lake, Colorado in the west. It crosses the Continental Divide at Milner Pass (elev. 10,758 ft/3,279 m) and reaches a maximum elevation of 12,183 ft (3,713 m), near Fall River Pass (elev. 11,796 ft/3,595 m). Near the highest point on the road is another pass, Iceberg Pass (elev. 11,827 ft/3,604 m).
Trail Ridge Road is closed during the winter, and often remains closed until late spring or early summer depending on the snowpack. (text source: Wikipedia)

An elk at the Rocky Mountain National Park. He seemed a bit annoyed with me clicking pictures of him, and started walking away.
